Sam’s Boys Holiday & the financial cost of cancer

Hi, my name is Helen and I’m fundraising for my beautiful Step-daughter Sam and her 3 young sons.

 

Sam is 31 and has three boys aged 11, 9 & 5. Just before Christmas their lives changed when Sam became a single mum (those of you who know, know ). They moved to a new home, for a fresh start and things were looking up. In April they then took a huge turn for the worse when Sam was diagnosed with breast cancer. Things have got even worse (hard to imagine that possible) when Sam was told 2 weeks ago that the cancer has spread to her lungs

 

As a family we are devastated, but we are strong and fighting and Sam is even stronger and will beat this!

 

Sam would really like to give the boys a little break away this summer, to give them something to look forward to after a pretty crappy 6 months.

In addition to this as a single mum Sam is going to really struggle financially during the course of her chemotherapy, radiotherapy and her surgery.
