Sam and Amir's Fundraiser for Community Lifeline

Tax deductible
Two years ago, Sam told his mom that he wished he had $1000 to feed the homeless and soon decided to raise money for his birthday.  Since 2017,  he has raised over $5000 for the homeless.

This year, Sam and his friend, Amir, are joining forces and are using their birthday as an opportunity to fundraise for people in our community who are in need.

Sam and Amir have set a lofty goal of raising $2000 for The Community Lifeline Center.  CLC is an organization that assists families who are in financial crisis.  This summer CLC is piloting a new scope of work providing meals during the summer to McKinney ISD students who receive free or reduced lunch at school during the school year.  For families who rely on school breakfast and lunch, summer break is a time where food insecurity increases. As McKinney ISD students, this mission particularly speaks to Sam and Amir.

During a tour,  Sam and Amir also learned that CLC is in need of a commercial refrigerator that can keep produce fresh and healthy so that it can be distributed with the meals that CLC will be providing to the children this summer.  The cost of a commerical refrigerator is approximately $2000.  So, Sam and Amir have set their goal to raise enough money to purchase a commerical refrigerator, ensuring that beneficiaries of CLC will be able to have access to fresh fruits and vegetables for years to come.

Please support Sam and Amir in raising money to help ensure our local children have healthy food to eat for summers to come. Any donation, whether it's $5 or $100, helps Sam and Amir reach their goal.
