We are the Sampson Family from Tennessee. We currently have 4 children (3 boys and a girl) and are in the process of adopting our 2nd daughter from China. Our 4 year old daughter, Madilyn, who has the heart condition Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) with MAPCAs, is currently in-patient at Stanford Hospital in California. We traveled across the country for her heart surgery on October 12th and unfortunately she is having a lot of complications, which will require a long stay in the CVICU. While in the hospital, we found out the adoption of our new daughter, Macy, is being expedited by her orphanage in China due to her heart condition (TOF); therefore, we will be traveling to adopt her much sooner than expected (travel could happen in as little as 6-8 weeks).
Madilyn’s unexpected medical complications and hospital stay combined with the sooner than expected travel to China has created our need to fundraise for help with our medical expenses and remaining adoption expenses (3rd agency fee, travel expenses and orphanage donation).
