Avahs diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukemia
Hello My name is sammi.
I am a mum of 6 and my 3 year old girl woke up very poorly on Sunday 23rd June 2024 she was so lethargic, bruises unexpected, a pin prick rash, so very pale. 111 asked be taken to newcross hospital. Arrived at 11.50am she had emergency blood tests and the results came back something no parent wants to here " really sorry to tell you but she bloods show your child has leukemia" so I'm trying to raise money for the children with cancer and also will go towards avah also I know everyone's struggling but even if it's just £1 donation. I AM THINKING TO DO A SKYDIVE ALSO FOR CHARITY!
So far my princess has had 3 blood transfusions, 2 platelets transfusions, fluids and antibiotics all in a drip. Also started her chemotherapy. This is a long fight and my other 5 children can no longer see their sister at this moment in time which is so hard.
Hardest thing a parent has to go through worrying about everything and with having more than one child I want a genetic testing doing. No parent is prepared for news like this avah now has a proper diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (which is a common type of cancer and most easy treatable one) if avahs body agrees with all treatment and medication ect the next step would be a bone marrow transplant
