Samira, Weis and Durrin

Hi Friends, I would like to introduce you to the Rustami family. They are here in PGH studying at Chatham University. They are from Kabul Afghanistan. Weis worked for the NYT (as a landscaper)
in Kabul, he and his new wife were able to be evacuated with the help of the NYT. They are starting a new life in PGH. Their 7-month-old daughter Durrin is a pure delight. I will be watching her on Wednesdays. I am obviously helping them out with all their needs, I thought I would open up the opportunity to everyone. They really don't need that much but as things come up I want them to be able to get what they need. Right now they need a king-size mattress (their apartment has two twin beds). We have applied for Daycare for Mondays/Tuesdays/Thursdays. In the event, they don't get a full scholarship we may need to do more fundraising. If anyone has any connections to daycare in PGH please let me know. We have reached out to JCC, Carriage House, Magee UPMC, Beth Shalom and Bright Beginnings.

100 percent of what is collected will go to Samira, Weis and Durrin. If you want to meet Durrin PLEASE stop by on a Wednesday between 9 AM-3 PM.

Contact me if you have any questions or would like to meet them. Feel free to pass this info on to friends!!!
