Sami and Amy Spiezio

Hello, my name is Bobbi Hoy. My husband and I are good friends/family of Sami and Amy Spiezio. I am attempting to raise money for Sami and Amy to help with bills while Sami is in the hospital. We have reached our first goal of $5,000.00, I know we can raise more.  Please continue to share. Tell your friends and family. 

I am editing to tell you all what is going on, now that the tests have shown what is going on.  Sami has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that has spread to his brain.  He is now in treatment and is fighting with everything he has. Amy needs to be by his side,  now more than ever.  With radiation and chemotherapy,  this road will be extremely long.  We all can pray and send as many good vibes we can. Thank you all again for your support. 

Sami is the founder and president of American Kayaking Association. He has brought countless people together with his love and admiration of the outdoors. Unfortunately, Sami is in the hospital for an unforseen amount of time. Tests are being run but, answers have not been found.

Sami is currently in ICU and is unable to work. His lovely wife Amy, wants and needs to be with him however, their bills still need to be paid. Amy Recently completed her boards and is currently working as an LPN in Columbus. She hasn't been there long enough to file for FMLA. She has been by his side day and night. Keeping him calm and reassuring him that she is there. She is still working her twelve hour shifts at work, rushing back to the hospital to be with Sami and most nights, not getting any sleep.

She has been absolutely amazing during this horrible time. I know every dollar raised will make a difference. She can take the time she needs to be by his side.

The amount of fund raises Sami has done over the years have brought him in contact with many people. Can we come together and support our family during their time of need?
