Pembroke Kilkenny Giveaway for Samaritans Kilkenny/Carlow
Pembroke Kilkenny Hotel is temporarily closed with the Covid Crisis, and working hard to support our team during this tough time as well as planning how we can come back stronger.
Looking at our own emotional needs brought us to think of the great work done by the Samaritans and the concern that our annual Bangers & Mash Samaritans fundraising event to support them might be under threat this year with Covid-19 restrictions. This is especially concerning as the Samaritan's Charity Shop on John Street, the primary source of funding, has been closed for some time now due to Covid-19.
Pembroke staff want to help by raising €10,000 with donations from our generous community and friends. We considered takeaways during the closed period, but instead, we’ve decided to do a Pembroke Giveaway, as a support to the fundraising. So with a random selection for donors, we will giveaway 5 family meals (up to 5 people) to enjoy Brunch, Lunch or Dinner in Statham's. Winners will be notified using the contact details provided to make your donation.
Please help by making a donation and keeping this vital service going.
