Hello! I am Samantha Lavallee and I am a Patriot Scout in American Heritage Girls (AHG). AHG is a scouting organization which strives to build women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country. As a Patriot Scout, I am eligible to achieve the highest rank award in the program, the Stars and Stripes Project Award. In order to earn this award I must complete a large service project that will give back to my community for years to come. For my project I will be building a Gaga Ball Pit at Our Lady of the Fields Roman Catholic Church. This Gaga Ball Pit will benefit the parish youth ministry programs as well as its large community of families. However, in order to build this structure I need to fundraise over $2,000 to cover the cost of materials and tools, such as wood, stainless steel corner brackets, over 100 bags of pea gravel, and landscaping fabric.
