5 years ago my dad took me on a life changing mission trip to Guatamala where we built a 1 room house for a widow and her small children. From that point on, I knew I wanted to continue in my dad's footsteps and help others. I am so lucky to have the opportunity to take a trip this summer to Haiti with my church 2/42 and Raincatchers. Raincatchers is an organization that leads groups of volunteers into the mountains of Southeast Haiti to build simple, sustainable rainwater collection systems called "Raincatchers." A Raincatcher catches about a liter of water a minute! Collecting water off the roofs can produce more than enough water for families to drink, cook, bathe and share.

This trip will benefit the families in Southeast Haiti who will now be able to have fresh water for the FIRST time!! It is a short-term trip with a church and organization that has a LONG-term impact on Haiti and God's Kingdom!

I need to raise $2000 to cover the cost of my trip. ANY amount of money you are willing to donate is appreciated and will help a family receive fresh filtered water that has NEVER HAD IT BEFORE.
