Saline Rotary Foundation Pavilion Fund

Tax deductible

The Pavilion Project:
The Saline Rotary Club #3003  has developed a large scale community project to build a required public pavilion in one of Saline's parks. The idea has been met with great enthusiasm for the ball fields at Henne Field.

The proposed pavilion will be a 24’ by 30’ metal roof, wood truss structure set upon a concrete slab and will be located in the heart of Saline on the northeast portion of Henne Field on Bennett Street.

The anticipated construction and completion of the pavilion is planned for the end of September 2021.

Saline Rotary has coordinated the project in conjunction with Saline Area Schools (as owner of the property), Friends of Henne Field (a not for profit organization) and the City of Saline.

Why Is the Pavilion Important to our Community?
The pandemic has reminded us that being outdoors provides a great opportunity to step away from the isolation and bring about a renewed sense of engagement.  The new pavilion will provide shelter for families of those playing baseball,  hosting family gatherings or attending  community events.   The Saline Rotary pavilion will truly be an asset in the heart of our community.

Funding:
The anticipated overall cost of the pavilion will be $20,000 with our GoFundMe fundraising goal to be $10,000.  The Saline Rotary has experienced a significant loss of fundraising capabilities through in person events due to COVID 19 - we need your GoFundMe donation to make this project a reality.  All funds will be restricted to the Saline Rotary Foundation.

The GoFundMe donations to this project will be made through our Saline Rotary Club Foundation.  The Foundation is designated as a 501(c)(3) organization wherein contributions may be tax deductible.

We believe this project will make a lasting and measurable impact on the Saline Community and we look forward to your support.
