Salatiga helping people meeting needs.

Hi, my name is Natasha and I am raising funds to enable me to go and volunteer for a outreach program called Child Development Center (PPA) in Indonesia.

The Child Development program (PPA) begin in April 1991 and this program serves children who are living in extreme poverty, the average wage for family of 4 lives on £1.53 a day and are unable to provide the basic needs for their children.

Their are roughy 138 Million children and familes currently living in extreme poverty in Indonesia and there is NO goverment support at all.

PPA EKLESIA are currently supporting 192 children in the Salatiga region, ages range from birth and until they reach 18 years old. and another 300 are on the waiting list.

They support the children and families regards of race, age and religion-

They strive to give them hope for a better future and shine the light and love of Jesus Christ and bring Chist centred changes to their lives.

✝️They matter to Jesus

✝️They are the hardest hit by poverty's effects, but the least able to do any thing about their circumstances.

✝️They have a life time ahead of them.

I had the amazing opportunity to go and visit this community project and see what and how they are involved in making changes.

They provide them with free education and oppotunities to train and gain qualifications through the Centre of Excellence program.

Mentorship.

Clothes and food.

Days out.

I was able to visit the children in different locations around Salatiga and meet other Christian International Missonaries from all around the World, who are passionately involved in this cause.

I will be returning to Indonesia to join them to support and volunteer,

I will be teaching them English alongside the other christian Missoniaries and minister to the children, from the spiritual, intellectual, socio-emotional side and the church will help from the fulfillment of nutrition and medical needs so that children grow perfectly.

The break down of Cost is as follows:

£300 for cost of living. this includes accomodation, food, water, electricity, laundry, travel for 28 days. .

£600 for educational supplies and toys, clothes and a few goodies for 192 children for 6 months . I personally will be buy the items myself and give directly to the children.

(it is cheaper to buy items in Indonesia than to ship over).

£900 return flight and Visa entry. (it takes 24hrs to get there - this is not a direct flight as it costs more-).
