I have been selected to travel to Cambodia with 11 other student nurses to take part in a once in a lifetime opportunity with the charity Transform Healthcare Cambodia. For 2 weeks I will be volunteering in hospitals, communities and schools in Cambodia.

Transform Healthcare Cambodia is a charity that provides training and education to improve healthcare after the Khmer Rouge regime which claimed the lives of over 2 million people. During the devastating regime Cambodia’s entire healthcare and education system was destroyed.

Before I travel to Cambodia I will be walking 10 miles from Staithes to Whitby to try and raise funds for this trip. All donations are greatly appreciated to make this trip possible.
