SAIT/LUTW Volunteer Trip Fundraiser
Help send ten Electrical Engineering Technology students to Peru, on a mission to install off-grid solar electric systems in rural communities.

SAIT students have partnered with Light Up the World (LUTW) and organized a twelve day volunteer trip. Students will travel to rural Peruvian communities where access to the conventional electrical grid is non-existent. Using their knowledge of electrical systems, students will design and install basic battery based solar electric systems. These systems provide communities with access to basic electrical lighting and receptacles.

The funds will be used to offset the cost of the trip for SAIT students. These costs include:
-Flights
-Transportation
-Food & Accomodation
-Installation Materials
We would like this trip to be accessible for all SAIT EET students, but the costs associated with the trip prevent many students from applying.

These funds will allow students to embark on a meaningful and impactful trip and an opportunity to grow as learners and members of a global community.
Thank you for your support!
