Hi, our names are Pia, Lia and Sarah and we are going to sail to Rottnest in our optimist's to raise money for the Starlight foundation. Optimists are small, one person sail boats that kids under 15 years old can sail and despite us being young we can get pretty competitive!

 

Starlight's vision is that everyone experiences a happy childhood, because happiness matters. The Starlight foundation helps children and their families who are staying in hospital. Captain Starlight can be found brightening the lives of many Australian kids almost every day in Starlight Express Rooms around the country. They have many programs which impact lots of lives including granting wishes for kids and a program for sick teens in hospital and online which is called Livewire.

 

We are very excited to advise that we have achieved our initial fundraising goal of $1,500! Thanks to all the supporters who have made this milestone possible. So we have decided to amplify our impact to the Starlight Foundation by increasing  our goal up to $2000. We will be sailing to Rottnest (if weather conditions are permitted) on Australia Day - Wednesday 26th January. Please help us to help the Starlight Foundation.
