Ida Relief for Saffron Banquet after fire explodes
Saffron Banquets located in Manville, NJ was completely destroyed by the record setting floods of Hurricane Ida on Sept 2nd. What followed later on Sept 3rd was completely shocking. Approximately around 2am on Friday; a huge fire occurred which left the entire place in flames. The blast was so loud that it could be heard in the neighboring towns. We are fundraising to help our friend Jayesh Mehta, owner of Saffron Banquet facility located in Manville near the neighboring Somerville, Bridgewater, Bound Brook, Montgomery & Hillsborough townships. The banquet hall was completely destroyed in a blast caused by the aftermath of Hurricane Ida. While there was no loss of life but the devastation has been done. The entire banquet hall was burnt to ground.

Saffron Banquets was a landmark for this tightly knit community in central NJ. It hosted several cultural, heritage and entertainment related events. Hurricane Ida has now become the biggest battle that this small business owner will have to face. Doing all the restoration for Saffron will take perhaps months and maybe more than a year not to mention the financial and emotional distress . Anything you can provide to aid the owner would be appreciated and more than we can all express.
We are heartbroken that the owner has solely taken on the burden of reviving this well-loved banquet facility and we want to do everything we can to aid their full and vibrant recovery. Let's all join together as a community and help this business owner. Let's be a rainbow in someone else's cloud.
Please consider donating generously and please help spread the word.
Thanks in advance for your gracious support and kindness.
