Hi Our Names are Tracey and Nicola , we have decades of experience in teaching swimming and we have launched a community interest company.

We will be Teaching people how to be safe in the water. The area we

will be providing our services to is key to the training. Living

on the Coast Line we want to ensure that the children of the

local area understand how to behave around water and what

they can do if they get into trouble or if they come across

others who are in trouble. Being close to Cleethorpes, the

Mud Flats create a particularly dangerous place so

understanding about tidal times and not being able to walk

out to the sea is key.

We are looking to raise funding to supply training courses

that are either supplemented fully by the funding or

donations or reduces the costs therefore making the training

more accessible to young people.

The local Swim schools are offering to donate pool time to

the CIC so that swimmers can practice their skills in a safe

environment.

By providing the right education to young people we hope to

reduce the number of accidents and injuries relating to water.

This will also help the RNLI which is a volunteer organisation

if people who are coming to the area are better educated

about the dangers of the local area.

The Rookie Lifeguards will learn how to perform basic First

Aid and CPR which can help not only themselves but others if

they are in a life-threatening situation.

Working with the local businesses to provide video content

that can be shared with holiday makers along with producing

leaflets that can be made available with local businesses so

that holiday makers are able to access these.

The leaflets and videos will help with basic water safety along

with local information that is key to staying safe in the water.

To provide training to the kids clubs at the holiday parks on

check in days. This will raise the awareness for the whole

family regarding water safety.
