Safe Transportation for a Family in need

A few months ago our oldest daughter Mckenzie had some volunteer time with the children's program at our local shelter. She fell in love with one sweet family in particular. She commented how polite, smart and HAPPY the kids were each time she was there. A few weeks later the single Mom (pregnant with number 5) and her 4 other children were placed in CARE housing and are now thriving in their new home. Our whole family has gotten involved with helping this single mom and her now, 5 kids, transition to their new home. This mom is so strong and so very dedicated to her children. She had the courage to leave a very dangerous situation and start completely over from scratch. She is also 7 weeks postpartum with her 5th child and just getting back to work. Now, she needs the help of her community.
Her car is 25 years old and only able to seat 3 of her 5 children. She has made do thus far but last week, her key broke off in the ignition as she was starting the car, making it un-drivable until she can get that fixed. We have decided to see if we can help her get a new (used) car that she can actually fit all of her family in and drive them safely. 100% of this money will be used toward a safe vehicle for her and her kids.
