Hi, my name is Kim Polson. I have the privilege of working alongside many outstanding educators who endlessly and selflessly give their hearts and souls to children in our school community. One of those educators is an Assitant in our Strategies classroom. Students in our Strategies classroom have Autistic qualities. This Assistant is so many things for our students. She is kind, consistent, ensures students' safety and helps our students grow endlessly, socially/emotionally, and academically.

In addition to her full-time job as an Assistant at our school, she works two other part-time jobs to make ends meet. This requires that she works 7 days a week.

I was recently made aware that she needs a new roof on her mobile home. After receiving the quote and checking her home owner's insurance, we found that she owes approximately $5,000 to fix her roof. ($2,915 for materials, $2000 for labor).

I am hoping we can help her. She gives and gives and never expects anything in return. Can you please help us help her and her family? If so, any tiny amount will help.

I've never done this before and am crying as I write this...because she is just that lovely.
