SAFE ROADS, STRONG FUTURES :
The Rose Tree Media School District (RTMSD) proposes to construct an 850-capacity K-1 Center on a small parcel, in a residential neighborhood on Rose Tree Road, Middletown Township. The proposal poses serious safety, financial, and community concerns. We urge the District to engage the community in the pursuit of viable solutions that offer more practical alternatives that better serve our students, families, and neighborhoods, without creating unnecessary risks and negative impacts.
We support full-day kindergarten while protecting our children, preserving the beautiful natural landscape of this historical road, and maintaining safety and affordability for all.
We are in the process of hiring an attorney to seek legal representation on this matter to defend and provide the district taxpayers with legal standing and legal rights to prevent this project in this location. Legal funds for an initial retainer are quoted at $10k. We are asking for your donations to help us maintain the integrity of our school system and neighborhoods.
In addition to legal support, these funds will help pay for materials to raise awareness. E.g. Lawn signs and communication needs.
Despite what the school district is saying, this is not a done deal.
Please consider donating to help create better solutions.
Thank you for your consideration; you can make a difference!
