I didn’t start this nonprofit as an idea, I started it because I understand what it feels like to need a safe place and not have one.
There was a time in my life when stability wasn’t guaranteed, when I had to figure things out day by day, and when just being myself came with real consequences. I know what it feels like to be young, displaced, and trying to survive without the support you’re supposed to have.
For LGBTQ+ young adults between 18 and 30, this is not an uncommon story. Many of us are forced into adulthood without support systems, without safe housing, and without people who truly understand what we’re navigating. And too often, we’re expected to “figure it out” alone.
This GoFundMe is raising $25,000 to help launch a transitional housing program for LGBTQ+ young adults. A place that offers more than shelter - a place for stability, healing, and rebuilding.
Funds will go toward securing housing, furnishing the space, covering startup costs, and creating essential support systems for residents.
If you would like to make a direct impact, you can also sponsor a bed for an unhoused LGBTQ+ young adult. Your sponsorship helps provide a safe place to sleep, stability, and the first step toward rebuilding their life with dignity and support.
Thank you for believing in this vision.
