I am raising funds for myself and my children because we are facing homelessness after moving into a home that turned out to be unsafe. Since being there, we have been dealing with bats, rats, cockroaches, moths, and flies, along with mold in the ceiling, foul odors, and parts of the ceiling caving in. There are also openings where rodents and insects come into the house, and sharp metal posts sticking out of the ground in the yard. I have complained multiple times, but nothing has been properly fixed, and I was lied to about repairs.

This has affected every part of our daily life. My business has suffered financially because in the early mornings the bats fly around my house and car, and I have not been able to get out safely on time. My children have been going to school late because we have had to wait for the bats to go back into the roof. They tell me they do not feel safe in this house. They are scared to go into certain parts of it because they fear the rodents will get them, and my baby boy cries sometimes because of it. At night, they hear scratching and squeaking sounds from the roof, which scares them and keeps them up. They also cannot play outside because of the hazards in the yard.

Because of all of this, I have not been able to rest, and I do not feel safe either.

I am asking for help so I can move my children and myself into a safe home and start over. Because of the rodents, I am afraid to bring our current furniture with us, so we will need new beds, furniture, and household items. Any donation or share would mean so much to us and help my children have the safety and peace they deserve.
