I am a disabled Black trans person in need of safe and secure housing along with a loved one in a similar situation. I was lied to by a housing program and have been forced to wait nearly half a year for housing i was supposed to have moved into 3 months ago. due to this, i have had to accept unsafe housing and my health has deteriorated from that and from the constant moving ive had to do while waiting. i have been homeless so many times and am very scared of nk longer being here due to poverty and sickness. i am raising 5k for housing costs, 3K will go towards the security deposit and first abd ladt monrhs rent, rhe resr will be to give me time to raise future rent money as a cushion. all i have ever wanted was to be safe and free. all and any help really appreciated. my life depends on this i do not want to be a statistic and fall through the cracks and be yet another disabled black trans person qho died waiting for help and suffering till the end. we deserve better.
