Alcoholism ruins the lives of millions of children each year. The little ones, the vulnerable & unprotected ones, the voiceless who are in harm's way by no choice or cause of their own. That's why we started My Mother's Arms. We exist to rescue children from volitile environments involving alcohol related abuse. We coordinate with local police, courts, restraining orders and other shelters to get battered children and their mothers into secure living conditions where they can start rebuilding their lives.
Our Mission
To rescue every child we can, from abusive situations that occur while living with an alcoholic. We also begin the recovery process and support the restoration of families while they rebuild their lives.
Our Vision
The Vision of the T. Patrick Sullivan Foundation is to design and build the “Jewell Johnson House of Healing”, a retreat facility that will aide and assist families of recovering alcoholics. It will be a retreat facility for the healing of the emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual damage caused by years of living in a home with an active alcoholic.
I had a dream where I saw this entire vision in fullness and completion. It’s located on 1,000 acres of land in Northern Arizona. I’ve seen the buildings, I’ve designed them already in my mind. I’ve seen the campus layout, I’ve walked it already. I’ve seen the lakes and the animals, the trees and the trails.
I’ve seen the doctors and therapists, the healers and spiritualists, the dieticians and counselors, and I’ve seen the families too! I’ve seen the moms and kids, the teenagers, and the housing. I’ve heard the laughter, and I’ve seen the smiles… I’ve felt the healing. It’s a good place, and lives change there.
This is “WHY” I’m here… It’s what I was made for!
