Sadqah Jariyah for Hadiqa Jabeen

Asalam o Alaikum,

On November 1st 2022, by the will of Allah, our beloved and dear Hadiqa Jabeen departed this world.

Hadiqa was the friend we all needed. The kind that looked out for you and always had your back. The kind that loved unconditionally. She was a loving daughter, sister and friend who had a warmth she projected from miles away. She always cared so deeply about everyone around her. Her ambition was always so inspiring. She had a desire to be something greater than herself and always lived up to high standards. It’s what drove her to succeed in everything she did, from high school, university, nursing, and even publishing her first book, Aimless Endeavours. Hadiqa was truly a diamond in the rough, and not a day will go by without her being missed.

The purpose of this Go Fund Me is to be able to build a well in the name of Hadiqa so that she may receive the good deeds from all those who benefit from the creation of the well. A water well will benefit people for generations and in return it will continue benefiting the giver for their whole life and even after their death.

Our mission is to try and raise $5000 so that we may build 5 wells ($1000/well) in the name of Hadiqa. In the case that we raise more than $5000 we will donate the rest towards those who are in need with the organization Islamic Relief Canada.

It was narrated by Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When a man dies, all his good deeds come to an end except three: Ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), beneficial knowledge and a righteous son who prays for him."
