This page is intended to raise funds to help complete a project that Sheikh Osman was working on as a means of ongoing charity that may, insha'Allah, benefit him after his departure from this life.

In November 2022, Sheikh Osman established a charity organisation under the name of Hastings and St Leonards Islamic Centre.

In August 2023, it gained its charity status from Charity Commission UK, Charity number: 1209945.

Sheikh Osman had a very clear goal: to create a purpose built masjid to address the needs of the increasing muslim population in Hastings and the surrounding areas. As a father, he often reflected on the generation of his children and those who would come after them. It was his heartfelt wish to see them grow up connected to their faith and proud of their Islamic identity. He spoke passionately about the importance of nurturing future generations by creating a space where they could learn, grow, and strengthen their relationship with Islam.

With Allah's aid, the Hastings and St Leonards Islamic Centre will offer a range of services, including educational programmes for both adults and children, as well as services to support the wider community. He also intended to promote sustainability by incorporating eco-friendly practices in the building operation to reduce environmental impact.

Sheikh Osman left behind a detailed and documented plan, insha'Allah through the collective effort of this fundraising we may see his vision be brought to life!

May Allah shower Sheikh Osman with his infinite mercy, accept his good deeds, and pardon him for his shortcomings. May Allah allow him to be successful in every test in the next life and elevate his rank. May He make his grave as spacious as the eye can see and illuminate his resting place and allow him to be accompanied by his good deeds. May he be perfumed and clothed from the perfumes and clothes of paradise. May Allah be pleased with him and grant him jannat al firdaws al 'ala. May Allah allow his children to be a means of ongoing charity for him and grant his family and those who loved him beautiful patience during this trial.
