As we enter the final three blessed days of Ramadan, a time when every good deed is multiplied and the rewards are greater than ever, I wanted to do something meaningful in memory of my beloved grandma. This year marks three years since she returned to Allah, and she continues to remain deeply loved and missed by all of us.

In her honour, we are raising funds to build a Sadaqah Jariyah water well, so that ongoing charity can continue to benefit her for years to come. Providing water is one of the most beautiful forms of charity in Islam, and every drop that is used for drinking, washing, or helping others can bring continuous reward.

During these blessed last nights of Ramadan — nights that may include Laylatul Qadr, a night better than a thousand months — we hope to build something that will continue to give back long after this Ramadan ends.

اللهم اغفر لها وارحمها وعافها واعف عنها، وأكرم نزلها ووسع مدخلها، واجعل قبرها روضة من رياض الجنة، وارفع درجتها في عليين، واجعل هذا العمل صدقة جارية لها إلى يوم القيامة.

O Allah, forgive her, have mercy on her, pardon her, honour her place of rest, expand her grave, make it a garden from the gardens of Paradise, raise her rank among the righteous, and make this charity a continuous source of reward for her until the Day of Judgment.
