Sadaqah Jariyah for Our Beloved Brother Mohammed Awil Osman

To Allah we belong, and to him we shall return.

We are heartbroken to share the tragic loss of our beloved brother Mohammed Awil Osman, who passed away and has returned back to Allah. In Islam, death is seen as a return to Allah and everyone on earth is promised death. May Allah grant him eternal peace and reward them with His infinite mercy.

Allah says in the Quran:

Al-'Ankabut - Verse 57

كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ

Every soul will taste death, then to Us you will ˹all˺ be returned.

This is a clear sign from Allah سبحانه وتعالى that:

• This is a trial from Allah and we will remain patient upon his decree and ease will certainly follow.

• We ask Allah, the Almighty, to make this a means of bringing ease to Mohammed’s Akhira. May Allah's mercy encompass him and forgive him for his shortcomings.

إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا أَخَذَ وَلَهُ مَا أَعْطَى وَكُلٌّ عِنْدَهُ بِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى فَلْتَصْبِرْ وَلْتَحْتَسِبْ (متفق عليه)

What Allah has taken belongs to Him, what He has given belongs to Him, and He has an appointed time for everyone, so let him show patience and seek his reward from Allah.”
