In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

‎اِنّا لِلّهِ وَاِنّا اِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُون

Surely we belong to Allah and to him we shall return.

In memory of our dearest mother Rukaiya Ugradar, who departed this temporary world on 28th November 2024 on the blessed evening of Jumu’ah. We are raising money to build a masjid. This masjid will be built in an area where it is most needed. Allah's mercy and compassion enables us to do something for our Mother in return. We dedicate this Sadaqah Jaariya on behalf of our mother, to honour her memory, continue her deeds and elevate her ranks, In Sha Allah. The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him said 'When a person dies, all their good deeds come to an end except three; continuing charity, beneficial knowledge and a righteous child who will pray for them' (Muslim).

Everything we learned, we learned from our mother. She was kind, compassionate, thoughtful and generous. She had a beautiful character, and was described as selfless and nurturing by a lot of people. She was a loving mother, wife, nani, daughter, sister and friend. She touched the lives of many and she will forever be missed.

We pray Allah swt accepts your charity and rewards you abundantly in this world and in the Hereafter.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ‘Whoever constructs a masjid for Allah, Allah will construct a house for him in Paradise’. [Bukhari]

They will ask thee as to what they should spend on others. Say: “Whatever of your wealth you spend, shall (first) be for your parents, and for the near of kin, and the orphans, and the needy, and the wayfarer; and whatever good you do, verily, God has full knowledge thereof.” (Quran Surah Al Baqarah 2:215)

May Allah forgive her shortcomings, accept her good deeds, and grant her a place among the righteous in Jannatul Firdaus.
