May Allah reward you all for the work that you do for the Ummah.

My name is Amhmed Abdussalam, and I am reaching out for the sake of Allah with a humble request for support. My wife, my young son, and I are currently residing in Italy short term for control appointments after my son’s initial heart operation on 10th December 2020. We then returned on the following dates for medical reviews:

2021: 2 control appointments

2022: 2 control appointments

19th January 2023

1st June 2023

30th January 2024

30th October 2024

14th August 2025

Up to now, Alhamdulillah, we have tried our best to support him during this critical time. However, we are currently facing serious difficulties covering the cost of accommodation and living expenses while staying in Italy for his treatment and recovery. As parents, being close to our son during his surgery is extremely important, but financially it has become very challenging.

We kindly ask, by the will of Allah, if your organization can offer any assistance with accommodation and living expenses. The medical treatment for my son has already been covered following an earlier plea for help.

We would be grateful for any support you can provide. Medical documents and hospital information can be provided to confirm our situation. Please also see the attached pictures from his first operation and the most recent control appointment.

The treatment has been covered by the Vatican. We could not avoid requesting support from whoever was willing to help after being informed that the Libyan Embassy would cover our time in Italy, and then being abandoned by them upon arrival. It became urgent for us to find someone to fund our son’s treatment in order to prioritise his future. We understand that seeking support from such a source may seem unfavourable as Muslims, but we hope you understand that it was a major time of need.
