This fundraiser is for the General Fund for SacPoly. This fund covers expenses that are incurred on a yearly/regular basis.
Expenses are as follows:
- Meetup: $357.98/yr
- Venue fees (Reason Center): $105/3hr event
- Supplies, Advertising, etc: $??? (Additional funds go to this category)
CNM, or Consentual Non-Monogamy, is the umbrella term for those who have multiple relationships with multiple individuals simultaneously. Under than umbrella term, polyamory is the term for those who practice and seek love and connection in their relationships.
As an individual, Sarah Tygert has been hosting events for the polyamorous community for around 8 years. She currently helps organize 3 monthly events in the Sacramento area. She is looking to actively expand and grow in 2025.
I am not a nonprofit/501c3 (yet?), I pay for everything out of pocket. As of June 2025 I keep track of expenses/donations on a spreadsheet (was not enough to keep track of beforehand).
