Sabhari’s Leukaemia Treatment Fund
Donation protected
Hello friends, we would like to raise some money for a relative’s grandson in India who is unwell.
The little boy is 2 years old and his name is Sabhari Vignesh. He lives with his parents and older sister in Tirupur. He belongs to Sirukudal Patti village and his Kovil is Matthur Arambakkur.
Sabhari was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia at PSG Hospital in Coimbatore. He was admitted with severe constipation, abdominal distension, weight loss and discoloured palms/feet. He was found to have severe anaemia requiring transfusion. Bone marrow aspiration and blood tests revealed B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.
Sabhari requires 3 years of Chemotherapy treatment. The total cost of the treatment at Meenakshi Mission Hospital & Research Centre (Division of Paediatric Haematology), Madurai is Rs 8 Lakhs (approx £8000).
Sabhari’s dad works as a garments tailor at an exports company. His mum is a housewife. Unfortunately they do not have enough funds or savings to cover the treatment cost. We would therefore be grateful for any donations to help.
