Saavri's Volunteer (Environmental & Marine) Work

Hi! My name is Saavri Biswal! As you may already know, I am currently taking a gap year. I chose to take a year off for two main reasons: to heal and recover from a lot of trauma that occurred this past year and continue working on strengthening my reading comprehension skills that were affected by my head injury. I also spent this time working and tutoring kids!

You may be wondering, why am I starting a Go Fund Me page. Great question! Now that I have some extra time left in my gap year, I am looking to fund a mini volunteer trip to Costa Rica. I found an amazing volunteer program, Maximo Nivel, that offers many unique experiences! During my time there, I plan to volunteer in a Marine and Turtle Conservation project as well as an Eco-agriculture project. These projects will allow me to work towards protecting turtles and the environment as well as introduce me to my future field (environmental science and sustainability). It also gives me a chance to immerse myself in a new culture and environment.
