Legal fees for Sophia.
If there’s 2 things I dislike, it’s airing out my dirty laundry and asking for help. But here we go.
First things first I have the most amazing daughter in the world named Sophia Grace Randa.
She’s special needs and has been living with me in this house since 2018. If you know me personally you know how much I love her. You cansee her journey below with that link.

Anyways I had to quit my job as a field technician in March to care for my special needs
child full time due to covid, her mom has been in and out of her life the past few years and this is the 2nd time she’s trying to get custody of Sophia. She’s abandoned her and her financial responsibilities leaving me with the choice of either pay my mortgage/utilities and represent myself in court, or pay a retainer and fall behind on the house. My in law? and Sophia’s mom have done this before where they try to use the courts and bury me in legal fees so I lose the house. Because theythink that’ll get them custody of
sophia.
Now matter how much evidence I have, I am not an attorney and Sophia’s safety and well being is not something I want to put at risk.
I understand if you can’t help because of Covid, but if you are in a position to contribute it is very much appreciated. As of
right now the retainer is $3,500 but I told
him my financial situation and he’ll accept a down payment for now.
I don’t like posting stuff like this, but just wanted to give some context.
