Albie-Junior Thomas, is a 9-year-old amputee, is preparing to take on one of the UK’s toughest endurance feats: the 24-hour Three Peaks Challenge on the 18th August climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon in a single day. Having already conquered each of these mountains individually, Albie has made history as the youngest amputee to summit them all an achievement that speaks volumes about his determination, resilience, and unstoppable spirit. Now, alongside his dad Daniel Thomas and family friend Matt Newell, he is pushing even further to complete the full challenge within 24 hours, aiming to become the youngest amputee ever to do so and set an incredible world record.

Beyond the physical challenge, Albie’s journey carries a powerful purpose. Albie is raising funds for the maintenance of the new football pitch at Holywell F.C., a vital community space that will benefit local players, families, and future generations. Every step Albie takes is not just a personal triumph, but a contribution to something bigger helping to create opportunities for others through sport and community connection. His story is an inspiring reminder that courage and determination can overcome any obstacle, no matter how great.
