Dear friends and family,

I am reaching out to share the difficult journey my dad is currently facing. He has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that has metastasized to his liver. This news has been incredibly hard for our family to process, but through it all, my dad remains strong and determined to fight this battle. Unfortunately, due to an injury at work he underwent a shoulder surgery in December that left him unable to work for a few months, leading to financial strain as he has had to pay out of pocket for COBRA insurance-which has not been cheap. Now, he is due back at work while also having to undergo chemotherapy. He is doing his best to balance work and treatment, but the toll on his body is immense. We are hoping to raise funds to help ease the financial burden of copays, treatment related travel, among other medical expenses. Although this amount won’t cover everything, it will provide some relief during this challenging time. Your support means the world to us and will help my dad in his fight against cancer.
