Friends of Sparsh

Friends of Sparsh is a non profit charity organization, serving the homeless in your community. We are thankful to our patrons and volunteers! Last year, during Christmas when we reached out to you all to raise money for the homeless we received aid and a lot of willingness with your support. Your donations  funds the food bank, winter essential ,supplies and many other programs for the homeless community for next year .Many are living in shelters or on streets during this season. It is our aim to provide in every little way some comfort to them.
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus epidemic in our country, sadly many deprived families this year are struggling with hard times and can’t provide adequate food for their loved ones.
We have tripled food supply efforts so we can provide to the underprivileged of the community. Due to this in the last 7 month we were able to provide full meal dinners mostly every day. Friends of Sparsh has provided about 145,000 meals to our homeless community since November 2019. We are now serving dinners to up to 3 shelters.
·       Via the food pantry and other donations we have given $35,000 to stock and distributed about 80,000 pounds of food for the community.
·       This month we were able to buy and collect about 250 tents, blankets and sleeping bags to give it to our homeless community. We also provided them with firewood so they can keep warm on cold nights.
