Seth's fight is our fight! Earlier this year, Seth Hutchinson, age 22, noticed the lump on his neck was getting bigger. By Easter the mass was much larger and the doctors began testing to determine the cause. Yes it was cancer! Well actually, Nodular Lymphocyte Predominant Hodgkin Lymphoma. NLPHL is a rare form of blood cancer. Seth's pet scan revealed several other lymph nodes were affected and he was Stage IIIB.
"Cut it out", Seth requested, however this is not an option. He began his chemotherapy mid-June. Treatments are scheduled until the end of summer and then they will test to see if the tumors have shrunk. Seth will require medical follow-up the rest of his life and hopefully with Gods grace, he will remain in remission.
His positive attitude throughout the attack this disease puts on his body gives us all hope and strength to help him get through the bad and good days. He is concerned for the stress, worry and financial burden placed on him and his parents. Seth is a one of a kind person with a heart of gold and filled with love for his family and friends.
Health Insurance only covers so much. The deductibles and out of pocket medical expenses will take a toll on him, Cindy & Hutch.
If you are able, please consider donating to help defray some of the out of pocket medical expenses and Seth's loss of income throughout his ongoing treatment and ROAD TO RECOVERY.
