Help Us Help Susan

Hi friends and family of Susan Sullivan. Your donations are helping Susan to replace her car which was stolen a little over three weeks ago. These funds are also being used to offset the loss of her job as the woman she took care of passed away in January. Please help us in whatever way you can. Susan has medical expenses due to her ongoing treatment for Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. No one should have to endure these circumstances alone. Our goal now is to reach $15,000 to help pay down this debt. We are launching this appeal on her behalf, because we know Susan wouldn’t want to ask for help, especially since many generous friends helped five years ago when breast cancer metastasized to her liver and her lungs. Because of those contributions, she was able to receive great medical care, and the tumors had slowed and were shrinking. But now her cancer has advanced, and it is attacking not only her liver and lungs but her spine as well. More radiation and new medications are called for, and her medical bills are skyrocketing.

In addition, her only work lately has been as an assistant to a widow who passed away last week! And that was four days after Susan’s car was stolen from her home. Though her car was in great shape, the insurance won’t come close to adequately replacing it. She needs a reliable car. So, Jeanette and I are reaching out to Susan’s friends and family and asking for any assistance you can afford. We know this is a terrible time for many of our loved ones, especially in Los Angeles, so we completely understand if your resources can’t absorb another special cause.
