Holly's Tanzania Trip with Camps International 2026 ️

In July 2026, I am participating in a trip to Tanzania with Camps International. I will be working alongside local communities on important environmental and community project work, developed in partnership with locals to create sustainable change, whilst staying in unique African banda camps in the heart of rural Tanzanian villages. Projects could include helping to build classrooms, constructing and refurbishing community buildings and installing water storage systems. I will be getting involved in environmental projects such as tree planting, digging waterholes or making elephant dung paper. I will be assisting with some more community project work, helping to improve living standards for locals, this will include getting my hands dirty with cement mixing, brick laying or digging(!). My final task will be taking part in the traditional football match between the visiting volunteers and locals.

To raise funds, I am hoping to climb Ben Nevis (weather dependent) during the Easter holidays.
