It's me Tanya, something recently just happened to my mum. She was a victim to an Amazon/TD phone scam, they tricked her and managed to get 9000$ from her savings. They used threats and told her she would be arrested if she told anyone and that she could be part of some sort of money laundering scheme. She also just recently retired in the last couple of months from her job working as an integration aid, not a choice she wanted to make right now, but due to her mother being ill. Not only was her money taken but this has effected her in many ways. The police closed the investigation in less than 24 hours and the bank closed it in 48 hours. I understand there is probably not much they can do but still, have a little compassion.

My mother her whole life has cared and helped others. She's an amazing nana, amazing mother, amazing friend to many. She has never put herself first it's time she's put first she did not deserve this, no one does.

Everything collected before June 19th will be given to my mom at her retirement dinner.
