Some of you may know me as tacomafoodieontheloose. Some may know me as Leah. But my most important title that you may not know me as is Mom.

I am coming to you in such a vulnerable position. Something I have never shared publicly is that I am a recently single mom to the light of my life, my 3 year old daughter. I am reaching out with a heavy heart and hopeful spirit after years in a difficult marriage as I have pursued a divorce. I do not wish to speak badly of the other party, but the reality of the situation has left me with minimal options.

Unfortunately, the process has taken a devastating turn. Me and my daughter are in danger of losing everything: our shared assets, our home, and the financial stability l've worked so hard to create for us. I'm fighting to protect what little we have left, but legal representation, court costs, and the time away from work are financially overwhelming. I also recently had a health scare which resulted in surgery and a week long hospital stay which has been a major setback.

I never thought l'd be in this position, but I need your help. Every dollar raised will go directly toward legal fees, securing housing for me and my daughter, and starting fresh as we try to rebuild our lives in a safe and stable environment.
