Dear friends, family and kind supporters,
Big B's sister Susan here asking for your Support.
If you have ever walked into Leggett’s in Manasquan, chances are you’ve shared a laugh, a drink, a story with my brother Brian, or maybe he showed up if you needed a hand. Maybe you just know him from around town since he was born, raised, and has lived there.
I’m asking for your support to be able to provide the help he needs at this time.
Back in April, he suffered from a sudden and severe heart failure and spent 3 months in the hospital. He nearly died. Thanks to the quick actions of his friends at Leggett’s, Manasquan EMS, and medical professionals, he survived. But, while he was in the hospital our Mom passed away, but I’m glad she was able to make it to the hospital to see her baby boy one last time a week prior to her passing to make sure that he was doing ok.
Thank you all for the prayers and support so many of you shared via Facebook. I feel that the support you shared helped as he’s now in Rehab!
But looking ahead, he’s now facing a long road to recovery filled with hospital bills, medications, therapy, and on-going treatments to keep his heart beating. He’s currently in Rehab and is working hard to walk again and get home. That’s why I’m asking for your monetary help.
Your donations will go directly towards:
• Hospital bills and emergency care
• Ongoing cardiology appointments
• Medications
• Support for recovery and rehabilitation
• Medical equipment
For those of you who are unable to make a financial contribution, if you could donate your time, goods, or services to the cause it would also be helpful; food shopping, transportation to Dr. appointments, laundry help, house cleaning.
All funds raised will go into a Trust for Brian to be distributed when needed. If anything unforeseen should happen to him all remaining donations within the Trust will be distributed to the Manasquan Food Banks to support the community per his request.
Please feel free to share this Go Fund Me with friends I might not be able to reach.
Thanks for your support.
Susan
