My sister Veronica

I am writing this on behalf of my sister Veronica. For those of you who might not know, Veronica has been battling multiple serious infections. Over the past week she has been fighting sepsis, staff infection, pneumonia, multiple abdomen infections, and was on a ventilator for a period of time. She is currently stable with an abdomen wound vacuum to help extract the remaining infection left. We currently do not know when the wound vacuum will be removed and when the abdomen will be surgically closed. An intense skin grafting and plastic surgery will be need as well. As of today, she has been denied FMLA, which we are fighting in order to keep her health coverage. Although she is alert and talking, we forsee it being quite some time before she is able to take care of herself, her son and return to work. If you know Veronica, you know she is the first to help and last to ask for it. She is a beautiful person inside and out. It breaks my heart to see her in this horrid mental and physical shape. My family and I humbly appreciate any support from family and friends during this terrifying time. All donations will go towards providing for her son, health insurance, medical and living expenses. We pray for God's healing powers and thank all who have helped navigate, educate and lead us in faith. ❤️
