Empower Lance Vardon's Pursuit of Happiness

Hello to all who love and support care about me Lance Vardon.

I would like to introduce myself, my name is Lance Vardon, I am 32 years old, born blind due to a rare disease called Pax6 and I have Autism too. I am reaching out to you for financial support. I cannot work due to disability and my parents are on a limited income ( Social Security Disability) My mother Judy Vardon is typing this request for me.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. Playing piano is a passion for me. I started playing the piano when I was only 10 months old. I attended the Berkley School District in Michigan and in High School I performed s the Orchestra s pianist, I was enjoy volunteering as a pianist at Beaumont Hospital ( Royal Oak, Michigan) Mrs. Lisa Barnett continues to instruct me with music lessons.

You may remember our family " The Vardon Family " when we were showcased on ABCC Extreme Make Over Home Edition ( 2004) My parents, who are Deaf, and I live in the house that was specifically designed for our family and my safety. Besides safety concerns,ABC provided other aspects to our home specifically for me. For example: I love using mt backyard swing and swimming pool that ABC built for me. Both of these activities have been great to help to strengthen my Sensory Skills and offer me enjoyment and independence.This are very important to me more than.

Now the reason for may request.

I am seeking financial support for the following items.

# My piano is in constant need of repair ( broke electric) as replacement new piano my family spends approx one or two times a year cost around $800 per new piano.

# I am also in need of a new music cassette player ( 5270AV) specifically designed for blind/low Vision individuals.

# Our pool as you see on the picture very bad shape now since 2004...this needs repair, that can become quite expensive. Pool repair estimates will cost roughly

$ 7,000 with an additional $ 10,000 for installation of a new pool heater.

#In addition, there is new new technology that has made it possible for me to ride a bike with my Dad as my Guide and Driver ! This special bike is designed with two front seats, where my Dad will be beside me and able to have full access to communicate with me ( tactile fingerspelling). We are thrilled that these bike are now available but at a ticket price of around $7,000. This always my dream to ride out as independence with his guide.

# addition of $5,000 for lawyer if possible for my parent set up fund for my future when something happened to my parent s health.

In search of having my own life back like it used to be and the need to stay more independent, I am asking for you to donate to my cause. With your support I will be able to provide myself and my environment with produces that will assist me in my daily life.
