Positively 3rd Street Bakery Needs Your Help!

We deeply appreciate the generous outpouring of support from our customers during this uncertain time. People near and far have been asking what they can do to help. In an unfortunate turn of events, it’s become apparent that our mixer must be replaced as soon as possible. Due to Covid-19 related loss of revenue, we no longer have the financial liberty to replace it. Our mixer is vital to day-to-day operations, and is necessary for the production of our baked goods.
We applied for an SBA loan immediately, but unfortunately have not received a response. As a worker-owned-cooperative we have a strong tradition of supporting each other and our community, but right now we need your help.
We need to raise $25,000. These funds will go a long way toward paying workers whose hours were reduced, continuing to provide wholesome goods, funding our free school lunch packs, and most importantly, replacing our faithful, yet ailing, Hobart mixer.
In 1983, the founders of Positively 3rd Street Bakery began our worker-Owned Cooperative with the mission to support the community while being grounded in ideals of healthy, locally sourced, organic foods. We have maintained that tradition for 37 years purposely choosing to buy local ingredients, reinvesting in the community through donations and acts of service, and baking amazing products from scratch by people who care.
