UPDATE:

As of August 2021, Ray Jr. is finally home and I was given full custody. Words can’t express the feelings that I have to be able to finally see him. He is happy, thriving and adjusting better than I could have ever imagined. It’s as though we didn’t skip a beat. We are asking for your help to ensure that we are never apart again. As many of you may know, I’ve been engaged in a lengthy and expensive International Parental Kidnapping and Abduction battle for over 3 1/2 years. I’m deeply am thankful for all for your support.

These past years have been a nightmare.  My ex-wife ignored our initial court date and illegally took our son to Canada. I then had to file with the Hague Convention of International Child Abduction and Kidnapping to get him back. I have been through multiple trial courts, appellate court battles, international courts and mediations. All of whom have ruled in favor that my son, Ray Jr., belonged in the United States. Even with all of these rulings in place, my ex-wife abducted our son for a second time and fled back to Canada. This forced me to hire more attorneys.

The costs attorney fees have been astronomical being that this is an international battle. I have depleted my savings and gone into enormous debt trying to be a valuable part of my son’s life. Every dime that I make goes towards this fight. My ex-wife continues to file frivolous appeals, which has forced me to hire attorneys in two countries once again. As a family, we have and continue to do everything we can to keep Ray Jr. safe. The court process is a vital one, a slow one. This means more financial burden.

Time is of the essence. I have spent every cent that I have fighting for the opportunity to be my son’s dad and for him to have one. I have no regrets.
