More information about Inspiring Young Minds: Our mission is to help bright and motivated students obtain access to higher education at prestigious boarding schools around the country. IYM targets students in greatest need of its services. To date, over 450 students have been placed in schools and have received over $40 million in financial grants. Our scholar demographics are made up of over 87 percent African American and Hispanic students; 100 percent of IYM students attend college; 40 percent are the first in their families to attend college.
