help my family get a home

Hi!! My name is Adi, and I'm 13 years old. I come from a single-parent household, and I'm currently fundraising for my family. My mom is a survivor but now relies on disability and a capped income. Despite facing immense challenges, she is the bravest and strongest woman I know. She has always worked tirelessly to keep our family afloat, enduring a very difficult life. I also have an older sister and brother who work hard to alleviate some financial burden on our family– We are a team– Team Unbreakable. Given my age, there's not much I can do in terms of contributing financially, which is why I've decided to start this GoFundMe.
Recently, we've encountered a housing issue, and we urgently need to find a new place to live by May 2nd, preferably sooner. To explain briefly, we were in a rent-to-own deal that was presented to our family almost 3 years ago by family friends. We have poured lots of money into renovating and making the house a home with the understanding that we could remain in the agreement, paying down the cost of the home until my mom could get an affordable mortgage. The family friends assured us they’d continue to work with our family due to income restrictions. On Valentine’s Day, everything changed as they told us we needed to get a mortgage in two weeks in order for them to honor the agreement. My mom has explained that’s not possible because of interest rates and the costs of homes. The family friends have changed their minds about the first agreement unexpectedly and suddenly, which feels like a major betrayal, and it’s left us scrambling to find affordable housing. With limited resources, my mom has been working nonstop, searching for housing options, managing doctors' appointments, and figuring out mine and my sisters' schooling. The stress on our family is immense, and we're doing everything we can to find a solution, including selling nearly everything we own. Our family also founded a nonprofit organization called Tuffmission (Tuffmission.com) in 2022. Tuffmission is dedicated to bringing light into the lives of underprivileged families, promoting creativity, community, and faith to combat anxiety and depression. Unfortunately, we've had to pause our activities recently due to our own challenges. Thankfully, other members of Tuffmission have graciously stepped forward to assist us with the scheduled events through July, but we may still have to cancel some of them. At this time, our primary focus is on securing financial assistance for our family's immediate needs. However, if you're interested in supporting Tuffmission financially, it will help so that my mom can work to earn money for our family without having to add the extra work she does to fundraise for the mission. We have been working towards everything we do in Tuffmission for about a decade, and were so excited about the scheduled CONNECT&CREATE nights finally seeing it all in action, it really helps boost our mood so I’m sure it helps others too! You can find more information on our website and can make donations through the website for the tax deduction receipt. Thank you for taking the time to read our story, and I sincerely hope you'll consider donating. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference.
