Hey everyone,

I’m TJ, and I’m incredibly grateful to be running in the Abbott World Marathon Majors Cape Town Marathon 2026 on May 24th in Cape Town!

But this journey is about so much more than crossing a finish line—it’s about running with purpose.

I’m running to raise money and awareness for homeless veterans who are at risk of falling into the cycle of incarceration.

Too many brave men and women come home after serving our country only to face the harsh reality of homelessness. Without the right support, many end up caught in a system that doesn’t heal—it just repeats. That’s not the homecoming they deserve.

No veteran should ever carry the word “homeless” after everything they’ve given for our freedom. Together, we can help change that—by providing resources, support, and a real path forward.
