Hey everyone,
I’m TJ, and I’m blessed to be running in the Chicago Marathon on Sunday, October 12th! But for me, this is about so much more than just the race — it’s about running with purpose. I’m running to raise money and awareness for homeless veterans who are at risk of falling into the cycle of incarceration.
Far too many brave men and women return home after serving our country only to face the heartbreaking reality of homelessness. Without the right support, many end up in jail — sometimes repeatedly — instead of receiving the care and opportunities they deserve.
No veteran should ever have the word “homeless” attached to their name after all they’ve sacrificed for our freedom. With your help, we can break this cycle, provide essential resources, and give these veterans a real chance to rebuild their lives.
I’m asking for your support to make this mission a reality. Every donation — no matter the size — makes a difference. Together, we can ensure that our veterans are never forgotten and always have a place to call home.
Please consider donating to my GoFundMe page and sharing it with others.
Let’s make this run count — for our veterans, for hope, and for a future filled with second chances.
Thank you so much for your support. Let’s do this, Chicago! ♂️
