Every day, countless families across the world face the heartbreaking journey of a loved one diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or other dementia-related diseases. The journey through Alzheimer’s is often long, confusing, and filled with emotional, physical, and financial challenges. I have family and friends who have taken on the battle of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, but they don’t have to battle this disease alone. This is why we at Pedal for Alzheimer's ride. Through racing, I aim to raise funds that will accelerate research, provide support for families, and raise awareness of this growing epidemic.
